Lush and herbaceous, Glenmorangie A Tale Of The Forest is the distillery's first whisky crafted from barley kilned with woodland botanicals, including juniper berries, birch bark and heather flowers. Inspired by the ever-changing natural wonder he encounters when wandering the forest near his home, Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, brought back an ancient method of infusing barley with botanicals for this limited-edition release. Evoking the scents, sounds and sights of the forest, this experimental single malt is truly unique. There's a touch of background smoke, a sharpness from the juniper, and some floral notes of lavender and pine, all entwined with Glenmorangie’s signature citrus notes.
